▪ When you drag and drop preset files into the Preset Browser, they will be copied to
the Sounds folder of GUITAR RIG 5 and get the tag(s) that were selected before.
▪ After selecting
File > Import
the Sounds folder complete with tags. The same happens when you copy files to the
Sounds folder manually and click on

Exporting Presets

Aside from simply copying preset files directly from the preset directory, there's a conven-
ient way of exporting presets directly from the Preset Browser:
1.
Make sure the presets you want to export are visible in the Preset List by selecting the
right tags in the Browser.

Select them by clicking while holding the [Ctrl] (Win) or [Cmd] (Mac OS X) key, press-
ing [Ctrl] / [Cmd] + [A] selects all presets in the list. Selecting all the presets in the
list which are currently not selected is possible by pressing [Ctrl] / [Cmd] + [I] (in-
vert).

Copy the presets to the clipboard, i.e. by pressing [Ctrl] / [Cmd] + [C].

Paste them anywhere in the Windows Explorer or Finder, simply by selecting the des-
tination folder and pressing [Ctrl] / [Cmd] + [V], and you're done!

Saving New Rack Presets

If you want to save your current rack to a new preset, click on
ed with a special page in the SideKick where you can enter the preset's name, author, rat-
ing and some notes to save with it. The new preset will be saved in the Sounds folder.
from the GUITAR RIG 5 menu, you can copy presets to
Scan Presets
on the Options / Preferences page.
