To activate the boost function on the Towerchron QE1:

1. Ensure the unit is in “RUN PRESET PROGRAM” or “RUN OWN PROGRAM” mode.
2. Press the “SELECT” button until the arrow on the display points to “BOOST.”
3. The timeswitch will switch ON for 1 hour and then automatically return to the timed function.

To turn off the boost function early:

- Press the “SELECT” button again to choose a different mode (e.g., “TMD” or back to scheduled mode).
