Automatic Transmission Shift Mode
4-Speed Automatic Transmission with SPORTSHIFT
The automatic transmission gives you ultimate control with three different driving
modes: Normal Mode, Sport Mode and Manual Mode.
Normal Mode
When the selector lever is in the "D" (Drive) position, the transmission is in
Normal shift mode. The shift position indicator on the instrument panel shows
"D" and the transmission automatically shifts into a suitable forward gear.
Sport Mode
SPORT mode is used when power is needed for rapid acceleration or for uphill
driving. Moving the selector lever left into the manual gate
position causes the transmission to change into Sport Mode.
