Layer 3 configuration means that the SVP server and MIPT sets can be in different VLANs/IP subnets. In
this case WLAN switches and APs must be configured in layer 3.
This topology is fully adapted to routed data network environment

Jitter must be less than 1ms between AP and SVP Server.
When cascading is needed (and Independently of layer 2 / 3 considerations), the Master SVP & the related
Slave SVP Server(s) must all be part of the same VLAN/IP subnet.
