Inserting the Batteries and SmartMedia Card

Make sure the lens barrier is closed.

Slide the battery compartment

the side and lift it up to open.

Insert the batteries into the
camera as shown in the
diagram, making sure that
the negative and positive
poles are correctly aligned.

compartment cover, and slide

Insert the SmartMedia card
into the camera as shown in
the diagram, making sure
that it is pushed all the way
in.
