Add items from views to a playlist

You can add songs, albums, artists, genres, and composers
from different views of the
playlists.

In a view opened from the

Select
Options
New
playlist.

If you selected
playlist, and select OK. If you selected
select the playlist and OK.
Tip! In some of the views you can select multiple
songs to be added by selecting
Unmark
> Mark.
Tip! You can add a song that you are currently
listening to to a playlist.

Playlist details

In
Playlists
view, Select
The following information is displayed:
Name—The name of the playlist.
Songs—The current number of songs in the playlist.
Location—The location of the playlist on the hard drive.
Date—The date the playlist was last modified.
Time—The time the playlist was last modified.

Automatic playlists

The following playlists appear in the playlist view
automatically:
Most played
listed from the most recently played songs.
or
Recent
tracks—Includes 40 most recently played songs in
reverse order, ending with the most recently played song.

additions—Includes songs that you have added to
the library within the past week.

Available options

The following items are available as options in different
views of Music player.
Go to Now
information about the song that is currently being played.
Go to Music
shop, where you can search for, browse, and purchase
music.
Refresh Music
scanning the hard drive for new songs and removing
broken links.
Song details/Playlist details/Music library
Displays information about the selected item.
tracks—Includes the 40 most-played songs
playing—Opens a view that displays
shop—Opens wireless connection to a Web
library—Updates the library list by
