How to dry correctly
"Clean out airways" indicator light
This indicator light shows that the dryer
is not working most efficiently or econ-
omically.
The causes of this check message can
be:
– the fluff filter in the door is blocked;
– the vent ducting or the ventilation out-
let is blocked;
– the vent ducting is very long.
(See the notes on duct length
and diameter in the section on
"Installation - venting").
If it is not possible to shorten the vent
ducting, the "Clean out airways" indica-
tor light will remind you after each
drying cycle that the fluff filter needs to
be cleaned.
The "Clean out airways" check light will
only go out before the start of a pro-
gramme if the dryer has been switched
off with the "l-On/0-Off" button.

After drying

When the drying programme has fin-
ished the "Anti-crease / Finish" se-
quence indicator light comes on.
Press the "Door" button to open the
door.
Remove the laundry.
Make sure that the drum is empty.
If items are left in the dryer, they
could be damaged by overdrying
when the dryer is next used.
After each use, remove the filter from
its holder in the door and clean away
the fluff. (See the section on "Clean-
ing and care".)
Close the door and switch off the ma-
chine after each use.
Press the "l-On / 0-Off" button to
switch off.
