the grease filter or the hob below,
make sure you hold the filters
securely at all times when handling
them.
^ To remove the outer filter, pull down
on the quick-release catches at the
front and release from the hooks at
the back. Take care not to let the
outer filter fall onto the hob.
To remove the grease filter
^ To take out the grease filter, release
the locking clip on the filter, lower the
filter 45°, unhook it at the back and
remove it.
Cleaning and care
Cleaning the grease filter and the
outer filter by hand
^ Clean the grease filter and the outer
filter with a soft nylon brush in a mild
solution of hot water and a small
amount of washing-up liquid.
Do not use undiluted washing up
liquid.
Do not use:
– cleaning agents containing
descaling agents,
– powder cleaners, cream cleaners or
abrasive all-purpose cleaning
agents,
– oven sprays.
Cleaning the grease filter and the
outer filter in the dishwasher
^ Place the filters with the short side
upright in the lower basket, and wash
on a 65° programme using a mild
dishwasher detergent, ensuring the
spray arm is not obstructed.
Depending on the cleaning agent
used, cleaning the filters in a
dishwasher can cause permanent
discolouration to the surface.
However, this will not affect the
functioning of the filters in any way.
