Right-click (tap and hold on PDA) on the desired waypoint location. Press Add Waypoint from the pop-up
menu.

Waypoints). The coordinates can be entered in either decimal degrees, degrees decimal, or
degree-minute-second format depending on which notation you have selected from the Waypoints tab in
the Preferences window.
To edit an existing waypoint, select Waypoints from the Tools menu (MENU > Points on PDA). Select the
waypoint you wish to edit. You can edit this waypoint's characteristics directly in the Waypoints screen. You can
also modify whether you want to actually see the point on the map by either right-clicking and selecting Visible
or by using the eye icon in the waypoints toolbar. To duplicate and then modify a point, use the Clipboard
feature.
To Create a Waypoint Based on a Lat/Long Position:
1.
Right-click (tap and hold on PDA) on the map screen approximately where you want to create a waypoint
and press "Add Waypoint".

Go to Tools > Waypoints or (MENU > Points).
3.
Select the waypoint you just created.
4.
Enter a name for that waypoint under Name.
5.
Enter the latitude and longitude for this waypoint.

To change the icon for this waypoint, right-click (tap and hold on PDA) and press Icon from the pop-up
menu. Choose an icon for that waypoint and press OK.
• Waypoint Name - Any name can be entered here. Select a place from the map (or an existing point), and the
name will already be displayed.
• Latitude - Displays the latitude of the waypoint. Default display is in degree-decimal format. To change the
format, go to the Waypoints tab in the Preferences window and select desired format. TeleType now
supports degree-decimal, decimal-degree, and degree-minute-second formats for waypoints. If the point is in
the Northern hemisphere, you can omit the plus (+) sign. You must use the minus (-) sign if the point is in the
Southern hemisphere.
• Longitude - Displays the longitude of the waypoint. Default display is in degree decimal format. To change
that, go to the Waypoints tab in the Preferences window (Menu > Prefs > Waypoints), and select desired
format. TeleType now supports degree-decimal, decimal-degree, and degree-minute-second formats for
waypoints. If the point is in the Eastern hemisphere, you can omit the plus (+) sign. You must use the minus (-)
sign if the point is in the Western hemisphere.
