NOTE: A metal drive cover should be pulled out before you install a new drive to an empty 3.5-inch bay . This
cover should be removed if a 3.5-inch drive is installed. The function of the cover is to prevent EMI
effect.

Remove the screws along the sides of the drive frame and carefully pull out the 3.5-inch disk drive.
