Data to display a prompt that will require you to respond anytime you attempt to

access data service while roaming. The prompt will not appear again while you are
in the data session you allowed.
Tip: If you prefer not to use the Roaming guards feature, touch the Never ask check box
and then touch Roam while the alert dialog is displayed. You will not be notified of
your roaming status until you enable Roaming guards again.
To place roaming calls with Roaming guards on:
1. Press Home
2. Enter the area code + the seven-digit number and touch
3. Read the message and touch OK.
To answer roaming calls with Roaming guards on:
► Read the message and touch OK.
To access data services while roaming with Roaming guards on:
► Read the message and touch Roam.
To send a text message while roaming with Roaming guards on:
► Read the message and touch Send now.
 Touch Save as draft to save the message as draft and send it later.

Volumes
1. Press Home
2. Drag the onscreen slider to adjust the volume level of Music, video, games, & other
media, Ringtone & notifications, or Alarms.
3. Touch OK.
Tip: You can adjust the ringtone volume in standby mode (or the earpiece volume during a
call) by using the volume button on the left side of your device.
Silent Mode
The Silent mode option allows you to mute all sounds or vibrate (except for media and alarm
sounds).
