MediaGuide Setup
1 Use the (4/_ arrow) buttons to select Wired or Wireless
network.
If you select Wired, proceed to the Network Connection Test
(Step 3). If you selected Wireless network, please proceed to
the following step.
Using the (A/Y arrow) buttons, select the type of Wireless
setup option: Easy Setup (WPS), Assisted Setup, or Manual
Setup.
NOTE o:. Easy Setup(WPS). I f yourAccess Point(AP)supportsWPS, t his
method canbeused.WPSisa standard designed to simplifythe
connection of wirelessLANequipment a ndthe setup of network
security features.

TheNetwork Name, A uthentication, andEncryption aredecided
based on information fromtheAP.Youneed to manually setthe
SecurityKeyfor this method.

Once your wired or wireless network has been configured,
perform a Network Connection Test.
A network connection test screen will appear while the test is
being performed. If the test was successful, the successful
connection screen will appear.
If the network connection test failed, the connection failure
screen will appear.

Press the OK button on the screen to return to the Initial Setup
menu.
NOTE Inorderto secure yourhomenetwork, i t is stronglyrecommended
thatyouusea wireless access pointwithencryption.
MediaGuide S etup
During the Initial Setup, the MediaGuide screen will appear with
tile message, "MediaGuide setup will now begin. If you wish to
skip, please select Skip." To start the MediaGuide Setup, select
Next on the screen, or to skip the setup, select Skip. If you wish to
