Using the TV remote and HDMI® CEC Control to control other
more information, see "Selecting the video input to view" on
page 86.
To connect a DVI device, you will need:
o:. HDMI <'> t o DVI adapter cable
For proper operation, the length of an HDMI °9to DVI adapter
cable should not exceed 9.8 ft (3m). The recommended length
is 6.6 ft (2m).
.1. 3.5mm Stereo to RCA Y-cable
An HDMF '>to DVI adapter cable transfers video only. Separate
analog audio cables are required (see illustration).
NOTE
Toensure thatthe HDMI ® or DVIdeviceis resetproperly:
¢ Whenturningon yourelectronic components, turnon theTV
first, andthenthe HDMI ® or UVldevice,
¢ Whenturningoff yourelectronic components, turnoff the
HDMI ® or UVldevice first, andthentheTV,

Using the"IVremote andHDIVII ®CEC Control t ocontrol other
devices
To control the basic functions of connected audio/video devices
using the TV's remote control, connect an HDMI °9 CEC compatible
audio receiver or playback device. The HDMI _9 CEC Control
feature uses CEC technology as regulated by the HDMI _9 standard.
