(_mnecting an HDMI® audio system
To connect an audio receiver and playback devices, you will need
HDMI ®cables, see "HDMI ®cable (with HDMI Logo)" on page 28.
NOTE If several d evices areconnected, HDMI ® CECControlfeature may
notoperate properly, s ee"HDMI e _ CECControlinputsource
selection"on page100.
Forproperoperation, i t is recommended thatyouuseHDMI ® cables
with theHDMI ® Logo(H_m|').
Before controlling the devices:

NOTE Thisfeature is limitedto modelsincorporating Toshiba's
HDMI ® CEC Controlfeature. H owever, Toshiba is notliablefor those
operations. Seethe individual i nstruction manuals forcompatibility
information.
When using an external AV amplifier the picture and sound may not
be properly synchronized. In this case, adjust the delay time of the
sound on the AV amplifier.
NOTE Thecontrolrangeofthedelaytimediffersaccording to thedevice
youuse.
Connecting anHDIVII ®audio system
If your HDMI ® amplifier supports ARC, audio from the TV can be
sent to the amplifier via an existing HDMI _'_ cable.
