• This TV is a DLNA CERTIFIED _ Player and
Renderer. This TV can play digital content stored on a
DLNA CERTIFIED ''_ product with server function.
If you want to use this TV as a DLNA CERTIFIED _
Player or Renderer, you will have to configure the
network settings on your TV (_ page 21).
• If you want to use your home network with an
Internet connection, you will have to configure the
network settings on your TV (_ page 22).
Change the network settings if necessary (_ "Setting
up the Network" on page 65).
If you useInternet services,see the followingnote
before using it.
Note:
• Internet services are available only in the United States.

° Use of intemet services requires a working broadband
intemet connection (1 to 2 Mbps for SD video, 2.25 to 4.5
Mbps for HD video and 4.5 to 9 Mbps for HDX video).
° VUDU and other intemet-based services are not
provided by TOSHIBA, may change or be discontinued
at any time and may be subject to restrictions imposed
by your intemet service provider. The quality,
functionality, or availability of such services may be
affected by the capacity of your Intemet connection. Use
of VUDU video-on-demand and other intemet services
may require the creation of a separate account through
a computer with intemet access.
° Not all VUDU services may be available on or be
compatible with this product.
° VUDUvideo-on-demandandotherintemetservicesmay
require payment of one-time and/or recurring charges.
° You are solely responsible for any charges incurred as a
result of using intemet-based content, including, without

• The Dual Band WLANAdapter that is included is
designed to be interoperable with any wireless LAN
product that is based on Direct Sequence Spread
Spectrum (DSSS) /Orthogonal Frequency Division
Multiplexing (OFDM) radio technology, and is compliant
to:
- The IEEE 802. 11a/big and IEEE 802. 11n Standard, as
defined and approved by the Institute of Electrical and
Electronics Engineers and; may not be fully compatible
with, or support some features (e.g., security) of certain
Wi-Fi equipment.
- The Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi ®) certification as defined by
the Wi-Fi Alliance ®. The "Wi-Fi CERTIFIED TM" l ogo is a
certification mark of the Wi-Fi Alliance ®.
° The included Dual Band WLANAdapter is intended for
use with 40UX6OOU, 46UX600U and 55UX600U only and
should not be used with other devices. Use with other
devices may result in damage to the wireless USB
dongle and/or the other device. Such use will void any
warranty that may otherwise apply and Toshiba will ha ve
no liability for any damage that may result from such use.
Wireless LAN and your Health:
Wireless LAN products, like other radio devices, emit radio
frequency electromagnetic energy. The level of energy
