The BLADE is designed for cutting grass, The BLADESHIELDprovIdes protection from
weeds, and brush up to 1/2 inch in diameter, the spinning blade.
OPERATING THE COUPLER
Your powerhead is equipped with a coupler
which enables optional attachments to be
installed. The optional attachments are:

WARNING:
Always disconnect pow-
erhead spark plug before removing or instal-
ling attachments.

CAUTION: When removing or installing at-
tachments, place the powerhead and attach-
ment on a flat surface for stability.
1. Loosen the coupler by turning the knob
counterclockwise.
