Beforeperforming anytypeof maintenance/service, disengage all
controls and stoptheengine.Waituntilall moving partshavecometo
a complete stop.Disconnect sparkplugwireandgrounditagainstthe
enginetoprevent u nintended starting. A lways wearsafety glassesduring

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
• Alwaysobserveall safety rulesfoundon productlabelsand in
this operator'smanualwhenperformingany maintenance. S afety
rulescan be foundon the productlabelsand in this Operator's
Manualbeginningon page3.
• Thewarrantyon thistillerdoesnotcoveritemsthathavebeen
subjected tooperator a buseor negligence. Toreceive fullvaluefrom
warranty, o perator m ustmaintain theequipment a sinstructed here.
• Someadjustmentswillhaveto be madeperiodicallyto maintain
yourunit properly.
• Periodically checkall fastenersand makesuretheseare tight.
DO NOTcheckfor sparkwith spark plug removed.DO NOTcrank
enginewith sparkplug removed.
If the enginehas been running,the mufflerwill be very hot. Be careful
notto touch the muffler.
Thespark plug mustbe securelytightened.An improperlytightened
sparkplug can becomevery hot and may damagethe engine.
Checking the Spark Plug
Toensureproperengineoperation,the spark plug mustbe properly
gappedand free of deposits.Checkthe spark plugevery 25 hoursand
replaceitevery 100 hours.
