Installing the dryer.
Read these instructions completely and carefully.
Location of Your Dryer
Do Not lnstall
the Dryer:
]Do
not install the dryer in an area exposed to
dripping water or outside weather conditions.

not install the dryer in an area where it will
come in contact with curtains, drapes or
anything that will obstruct the flow of
combustion
and ventilation air.

Do not install the dryer on carpet.
Floor MUSTbe

Installation in Recess or Closet

ThisdryerMUST beexhaustedoutdoors.

other fuel burning appliance shall be
installed in the same closet as tile G.zlSDRYER.
]Your
dryer needs the space around it for proper
ventilation. DONOTINSTALL YOUR DRYER IN
A CLOSET WITHA SOLIDDOOR.
[]Closet
doo_,'smust be louvered or otherwise
ventilated and must contain a minimum of
60 sq. in. of open area equally distributed.
If the closet contains both a washer and a drym;
doors must contain a minimum of 190 sq. in. of
open area equally disnibuted. Air openings are
required to be unobstructed
when a door is
installed. A louvered door with equivalent air
openings for the fi.lll lengdl of the door is
acceptable.
