to highly efficient operation.
The new high eflficiencycompressor rims faster and will have a higher pitch hum
or pulsating sound while operating.

air inside the freezer and refrigerator
compartments

keep the temperatures
uniform
throughout.
The fans operating
at a high speed. This happens
when the refrigerator
is first
plugged in, when the doors are opened frequently,
or when a large amount
of
food is added to the refrigerator
or freezer comparUnents.
on the defrost heater causing a sizzling, hissing or popping
sound during the defrost cycle.
The flow of refrigerant
through
the freezer cooling coils sounds fike boiling
gurgling noise.

Icemaker
The icemaker water valve will buzz when the icemaker fins with water. Ifthe power
switch is in the ! (on)position it will buzz even flit has not yet been hooked up to
water. Keeping the power switch in the I (on)posidon before it is hooked up to
water can damage the icemaker. To prevent this, set the power switch to the
0 {off)position. This will stop the buzzing.
The sound of cubes dropping into the bin and water running in pipes as
icemaker refills.
