Low Voltage Protection This unit is equipped with "brownout" protection. of an extreme brownout, the Amana control will interrupt power to the unit to prevent compressor failure. When the line voltage reaches at least 100 VAC, the control will re- energize your unit. -

In ENERGYSAVERmode, compressor stops cooling. This feature can be used with SMART COOL or cooling with any fan speed. Amana's new air sampling system works to maintain set temperature within 1.5°F while in ENERGY SAVER mode.
