Mesh Topology

A mesh topology describes a fabric in which each chassis has at least one port
directly connected to each other chassis in the fabric. Using 20-port SANbox
5802V switches the mesh fabric shown in
characteristics:
Each link contributes up to 850 MB of bandwidth between switches, 1700
MB in full duplex. Because of multiple parallel paths, there is less
competition for this bandwidth than with a cascade or a Multistage topology.
Latency between any two ports is one chassis hop.
Fifty-six Fibre Channel SFP ports are available for devices.
