Some quick and easy tips to jfixing problems yourself

No picture and no sound.

• Make sure yourbrightness and audiocontrols aresetproperty.
• Tryanother channel. T he prob[em may be withthe broadcast.
No color, but the sound is O.K.
• Check the cotor controtin the Video menu.
• Try another channel The probtem may be with the broadcast.
Picture has a big btaek box
• Is Text mode[ selected but no text is avaitahteon the broadcast?

• The CC(closed caption) option may be in Text mode. SetectOFFin the
Captions menu (see page 22).
Picture has two horizontal
• Yourprogramis in tetterbnx. This meansthat the shape of your TVis a
