can be particularlyusefutin locatingcomponentson a specificschematicor printedwire circuitboard(PWB) diagrams.
Followthese steps to effectivelylocate a componenton a schematicdiagram:
1) Locate the schematicyouwant to search by clickingon the corresponding bookmarkon the lett side of the screen.The view on the rightof the
screen will then jump to the desiredschematicpage.
2) Magnifythe diagram to at least400% beforeconducting a componentsearch.This win enableyouto easilyviewthe reference numberwhen
it is highlightedon screen. Todo this,clickon the magnifying glassbuttonon the tool bar at the top of the screen. Move the cursor over the
diagram and RIGHT clickyou mouse.Selectthe 400% magnification optionon the pop-upmenu. Click on the buttonwith the iconof the open
hand to deactivate the magnification tool
3) Search the diagram (o_the entire manual)by clickingon the binocularbuttontool at the topof the screen. The "Find" window will appear and
allow you to type in yourdesiredtext.Type in a referencedesignator,suchas R502, andclickon the "Find" button. If the component is not on the
diagram, but is listedanywhere else in the manual,the cursorwilljump to the firstlocationthe textis found in the file. To find anotherinstanceof
that sametext, clickon the binocularbuttonagain and select =FindAgain."
