SERVICE
BELT INSTALLATION
1.
Place DRIVE BELT around TRACTION DRIVE
PULLEY (top pulley on engine shaft).
2,
Place belt over CONTROL CRANK and between
rear lift arm and tractor frame.
See Figure 44.
"DRIVE BELT ROUTING".
3.
Route belt around outside of FIXED IDLER
PULLEY and inside of TENSION IDLER PULLEY.

4.
Place the DRIVE BELT on TRANSAXLE PULLEY.
5.
Readjust BELT GUIDES on fixed idler and tension
idler pulleys.
Tighten retaining nuts.
6.
Readjust front belt guide. Tighten bolt.
7.
Reinstall the CONTROL ROD on control crank.
Make sure the belt being installed is above
rear rift arm.
8.
Reinstall the MOWER DECK (if removed).
