INSPECTING/REPLACING THE DRIVE BELT Belt Tensioner When servicing the snow thrower use only original MTD (Idler Arm) replacement parts. Inspect the drive belt once a year or every 50 hours of operation, whichever comes first, for wear. If the drive belt needs to be replaced, use the following instructions. -
