    IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS STEAM CLEANER. WARNING To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury: Do not use outdoors. For domestic use only. Do not leave steam cleaner when plugged in.
  • Page 3 2. Examine the mains supply cable for damage (only after removing the plug from the socket outlet). 3. If there is any sign of damage to the supply cable it MUST be renewed. The repair MUST be carried out by Electrolux Service Staff or a similar qualified person.

  • Page 5 The Enviro Steamer is a new way of cleaning that is effective and far more hygienic. The Electrolux Enviro Steamer does not allow calcium deposits to adhere to the boiler and does not require distilled water. Areas with hard water should use distilled water for better performance.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE The Electrolux Enviro Steamer is designed to thoroughly clean floor surfaces, such as marble, ceramic, stone, linoleum, sealed hard wood floors and parquet. WARNING: On surfaces that have been treated with wax, the wax may be removed by the heat and steam action.
  • Page 7 HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND USE (continued) Fig. 3 3. Rest the base of the Enviro Steamer on its floorcloth as supplied, making sure that the edges are secured over the base. Then tuck both ends of the floorcloth under the cloth clips (Fig. 3). Do not use without a floorcloth in place.

    Put in two measures of water, replace the cap and shake to loosen deposits. Remove cap and immediately empty water into a sink. CAUTION: Do not immerse the unit in water. The Enviro Steamer should be used with its own specially developed floorcloths (spare floorcloths are available from your Electrolux retailer/service agent).

    The Purchaser shall refer the appliance for repair to any Electrolux branch or Electrolux authorised service agent and nowhere else. On referral for repair in accordance with the warranty as aforesaid Electrolux shall, at its option, if satisfied that the condition herein set out have been complied with, replace or repair the appliance without cost to Purchaser.
