The recommended placement of the subwoofer is on the outside of right or the left main speaker. (See Fig. A ) The placement shown in Fig. B is also an optian, however, if the subwoofer is placed directly facing the wall, the bass effect may be impaired because the sound from the subwoofer and the sound reflected by the wall may cancel out each other. -
