TROUBLE SHOOTING
If you experience the following problems while using the DV1300, this troubleshooting guide
can help you.
No power
.. Connect the power plug into the wall outlet
securely.
No sound

Check if the DV1300 is connected securely.
.. Check all connections and settings.

Check ifthe DV1300 is muted.
Disc can not be played
.. Put the disc on the disc tray properly with
the label side up .
.. Clean the disc.

Moisture has condensed in the DV1300.
Remove the disc and leave the unit on for
about one hour.
.. The DV1300 cannot play discs other
than those specified.
.. Check the ratings setting.
No image
.. Check if the DV1300 is connected securely.
.. Select the appropriate video input mode on
the TV.
Bad sound quality
.. Make sure the audio output mode is set
correctly.
.. Make sure the audio connection between
the DV1300 and speaker is right.
Image rolls and no color
.. The color system set by the DV1300
does not match with that of TV.

The picture is disrupted during fast
forward and rewind. Some disruption
is normal.
Remote control does not work
... Remove barriers between the remote
control and the DV1300 •
... Point the remote control at the remote
control sensor of the DV1300.
.. Replace the batteries with new ones .
No microphone sound
.. Switch on the microphone and ac:ljust the
volume.
Hauling sound
.. Keep the microphone away from speakers.
... Lower the microphone volume and echo
level.
No response when buttons are
pressed
Some discs prohibit certain operations.
No operation with buttons on the
remote control and front panel
.. Disconnect the power plug and insert it
into the wall outlet again .
Noise is heard when listening to
brocdcast
... Try changing the location and direction of
the antenna .
.. Remove other eqipments around the
DV1300 .
Broadcast stations cannot be
received
.. Check if the antenna connection is correct.
... Adjust the appropriate frequency.
