Set the Date, Time, and Age(s).
1. Install the clock cell
2. Place the CAMERA/PLA Y switch in
CAMERA.
3. Attach a power supply, and slide the
POWER switch to turn on the
camcorder. The POWER indicator
will light.
4. Press the DISPLA Y button. The date
and time display appear with a flashing
cursor on the month. The flashing
cursor lets you know which part of the
display you are setting.
5. Repeatedly press the DATE/TIME
ADJ. SET + or - button until the
correct month appears.
6. Press the DATE/TIME ADJ. SELECT
button to move the flashing cursor to
the next part of the display.
Note: Press andhold the button to rapidly
advancethe
flashing cursor.
7. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have
entered the correct month, day, year,
hour (including AM or PM), and
minutes.
Note: The clock begins when the minute
digits stop flashing. The clock does not
keep time while any digits areflashing.
8. After the date and time have been set,
you can enter two birth dates into
memory. After you enter the birth
dates, the current ages can be
displayed and recorded.
Press the DATE/TIME ADJ. SELECT
button to access the age display
feature. The month will flash first.
9.Press the DATE/TIME ADJ. SET +
or - button until the correct month of
birth appears.
10.Repeat steps 8 and 9 until you have
set the month, day, and year of two
birth dates.
Note: Press the DATE/TIMEADJ. MODE
button to clear the age setting.
11 .Once all features have been set, press
DATE/TIME ADJ. SELECT. All
flashing will stop and the date will be
displayed for about three seconds.
Notes
• The age will be displayed in days (IOD) for
ages under one month.
• The age will be displayed in months (I1M)
for ages from one to eleven months.
• The age will be displayed in years and
months (6Y11M) from one year to six years
and eleven months.
• The age will be displayed in years (50Y) for
ages from seven years and older (up to 99 years).
To Correct the Displays
Press the DISPLAY button to display the
time and date, or press the AGE button to
display the age. Repeatedly press the
DATE/TIME ADJ. SELECT button to
select the item you want to change.
Press the DATE/TIME ADJ. SET + or -
button to enter the correct digit(s).
Repeatedly press the DATE/TIME ADJ.
SELECT button to remove the flashing
cursor and start the clock.
