Install the clock lithium cell.
The clock cell indicator ='_ will appear in the viewfinder when the cell has not been
installed or needs to be replaced. The cell should last approximately one year.

1. Make sure the camcorder is turned off,
and remove any power supply attached
to the camcorder.
2. Press the release tab of the clock cell
compartment cover and open the
compartment.
Cautions: Litfiium e_l_batien%s. Must
be disposed of properly.
Never handle punctured or Icing cells.
May cause bums or personal injury.
Can cause death or injury if swallowed.
Keep out of hands of children. If
swallowed, consult a physician
immediately for emergency treatmen_
The lithium cell may explode resulting in
a fire or chemical bum hazard if
mistreated. Do not recharge, disassemble,
heat above 212°F (100°C), or bum.
3. Insert the clock cell with the "+"
terminal facing out.
4. Close the compartment cover. It will
click into place.
