Sleep Timer
The sleep timer allows you to set an amount of time you want to give before llle "IV/VCR shuts
itself oil'. Each press of the SLEEP bulton will count down 10 minutes on the clock, starting at
120 minutes. Afler the sleep timer is set, lhe screen will display the time every ten minutes to
remind you the sleep timer is operating.
To display lhe sleep timer momentarily,
press SLEEP
and the remaining
time will be shown. To cancel the sleep timer, press SLEEP repeatedly
until
the display turns to 0.
Using Closed Captioning
Many programs are encoded
wilh closed-captioning
information,
which lets you display llle
audio portion of a program as text on the "IV screen.
Closed captioning
is not available on all channels
at all times. Only specific programs
encoded
wilh closed-captioning
information
are applicable.
Check your "IV/VCR program
listings for CC
(closed caption)
broadcasts.
To use closed captioning,
press the CAPTION buuon on the remote.. Press once to view Caption
Channel 1, twice to view Caption Channel 2, and again to view Full Screen Text.
