How to Use Your TV/VCR's Menu System
You use dm buttons on the remote to access dm menu syste1:q and 1:qake changes to dm
settings.
The following pages explain how to use the different types of _:qenus to adiust the features of
your TV/VCR.

Menus
The first _:qenu is called dm MENU. Press MENU on the remote to bring up the
MENU.
Menus take you to another _:qenu or a con_ol panel. To select a choice in a
menu:

Press the up or down arrow button to select a menu ite_:q. Press the ENTER
button to activate dm selection.
Exiting a menu
To exit a menu:
•
Press MENU on the remote until the MENUscreen
disappears.

Setting
the On/Off
Timer
The ON/OFf" TIMER 1:qenu lets you set a timer to automatically
turn the TV/VCR
on and o1_" automatically.
Note:
When you set the ON TIMH¢ you must set the OFf" T1MfJ¢ as well or
the TV/VCR will automatically
turn cff approximate{v
one hour later
after the TV/VCR h&_ turned on.
To set the ON TIMER:
1.
Press MENU to display the MENIZ
2.
Select TVSk"I:UP, then press ENTER.
3.
Select ON/OFf" _IIMH¢,then press ENTER.
4.
Select ON TIMER, dmn press ENTER to begin selling the timer.
5.
Press the up or down arrow button to set llle desired hour. Press ENTER to
select llle hour Qhe AM/PM setting will change as well).
6.
Repeat step 4 to enter the desired minute, channel and day of the week.
7.
Press the up or down arrow button to select the Sk'Tmode
to set the ON
TIMf2¢, lhen press ENTER.
8.
Press MENU until llle Mf2VUscreen
disappears.
