Using the remote control (cont.)
Setting up the remote control to operate your cable box.

Turn off your cable box.

Set the TV/VCR/AUX
switch on the remote control to "AUX" or "VCR."

While holding in the POWER button on the remote control, enter the code
number listed in the chart below for your br:md of cable box. _f more than
one code number is listed, try the first one. [f that code does not work, try
the next one until you find the correct code ,)

Release the POWER button.

Press the POWER button again. Your cable box should turn on. If the cable
box turns on, your remote control is now set to operate your cable box.
If your cable box does not turn on, repeat the instructions above, trying each
code number listed for your brand of cable box.
Sometimes
manufacturers
will change the re.mote control codes for their
products, or they use more than oncecode. If this is the case, your re:mote may not
be able to operate yourVCR or cable box.
When you replace the batteries in your remote control, the remote will return to
its initial setting. The VCR layer will be set to control Mitsubishi (A) VCRs; the
AUX layer will be set to control Mitsubishi (B) VCRs. Repeat the steps above to
reset 3'our remote control.
