CYCLES AND WATER USAGE
AUTO CLEAN (Selectmodels)
Manufacturer's recommended cyclechoice
for all day-to-day s oiltypos.
Normal dishloads vary from day to day.
Auto Clean is recommendedbecause it
selects the numberof fillsand wash time
best suited for the soil levelof each load.
Dependingon the numberof fills required
waterusagerangesfrom 4 to 10 gallons.
HEAVYWASH
Long cycle for heavyfoodsoils.10 gallons.
NORMALWASH
Medium cycle for average food soils.
Depending on the numberof fills, water
usageranges from 4 to 8 gallons.
LIGHT WASH
Shortcyclefor light food soils. Depending
onthe number o f fills,waterusageranges
from 4 to 6 gallons.
RINSE ONLY
Rinsesdishesbeingheld untilthere is a
full load.Controls odors.2 gallons.

Select ToughScrub" or ToughScrub"

anycycle(except R inseOnly). Depending
onwhich cycleisbeingused,selecting this
option addsfills, heatand/or washtimeto
thewashcycle.

Wash abngwith theToughScrub"orTough
Scrub" PlusopEon.
ACCUTEMP
(Select models)
AccuTemp" providesa watertemperature
checkin the mainwash and also in the
finalrinsecycle. If necessary,the heating
elementwillturn on and the cycle will be
extendedto heat water to the propertem-
perature.
Select AccuTemp" withany cycle(except
Rinse Only) to assure proper hot water
temperature a ndtoenhancedrying results.
SANITIZE
(Select models)
Select Sanitize with Auto Clean (select
models),Heavy, Normal,or Light Wash
to sanitizedishware. At the end of the
cycle,whenthe cyclemonitor recognizes
thatthe proper conditions h avebeenmet,
the SANITIZEDlightilluminates.
EXTRARINSE (Select m odels)
Select Extra Rinse to add a rinseto the
cycle. An extra rinse helps to improve
resultsin hard watersituations. The extra
rinseis already built into the cycle when
Heavy Wash is selected.
HEATEDDRY
Select Heated Dry to turnon the heating
elementduringdry for enhanced drying
results. W henHeatedDry is notselected,
toweldrying of some itemssuchas plastic
and teflonmay be necessary and more
moisture may be noticed adhering to the
dishwasher interior. With eitherdryoption,
it is normal t o noticevaporescapingfrom
the door vent.
DRAIN/OFF
To drainthedishwasher andthenturnitoff,
press Drain/Off o nce.PressDrain/Off t wice
toturnthedishwasher o ff without draining.
INDICATOR LIGHTS
TheSANITIZED(selectmodels) l ightillumi-
nateaat the end of the cycle whencondi-
tionshavebeen mettoachieve sanitizatJon.
I WhenSanitizeis selected,cycles
are monitoredto assure sanitiza-
lion.Unusually lowwatertemper-
aturewillpreventthe sar_dzation
protocolfrom beingsatisfied and
the SANITIZEDlight wiltnot illu-
minate at theend ofthecycle.
The CLEANlight illuminatesattheendof
the cycle and remains lit until the door
has been open for 30 seconds continu-
ously.
The DRY lightilluminatesduringthe entire
dry periodand goes out whenthe cycle is
completed.
The WASHlightilluminatesduring all dnse
and washportionsof thecycle.
The HEATING DELAY light illumina_s
whenthe cycle is being extended to heat
thewater.
The CLEANandSANITIZED(selectmod-
els) indicator lights will not reilluminate
after a powerfailure untilafterthe next
cycleis run.
