THE OPTION BUTTONS
SPECIAL CARE CYCLES
Pressing the OPTION button will display cycle options that
can be added to regular wash cycles, ncluding W,_YER
PLUS, PREWASH and ENERGYUSAGE D SPL#,Y.
To activate cycle options:
O Turn on the washer and turn the cycle
selector knob to select the desired eyc:le.
O
Press the OPTION button. The cycle options
will be displayed: WATER PLUS, PRE WASH
and ENERGY USAGE DISPLAY.
ALLERGIENE
TM
The ALLERGIENE _Mcycle is a powerful, high
temperature cycle designed specifically to reduce
certain allergens.
Selecting the ALLERGIENE
TM
cycle
automatically incorporates steam into the wash
cycle.
e The ALLERGIENE TMcycle can significantly
reduce allergens in bedding and clothing.
The ALLERGIENE
TM
cycle hel_ reduce dust
mite populations and helps reduce allergens.
o Due to the higher energy and temperatures
used, the ALLERGIENE
TM
cycle is not
recommended for wool, silk, ieather, or any
other delicate or temperature sensitive items.
O Press the button next to=the desired option;
the status will change to ON. To turn the
option OFF, press the button again.
O To return to the main display, OPTION
press
again, or wait 3 seconds.
O Press START/PAUSE to sta_ the with
cycle

PRE- WASH
....... Select this option to add a

especially useful for heavily soiled
items. Press the OPTION button, and then press
STEAM button to select PRE=WASH.
WATER PLUS
Select this option to add extra

WATEnPLUS r for superior results, especially
with large or bulky items. Press
the OPTION button, and then press COLDWASH
TM
button to select WATER PLUS.
ENERGY USAGE DISPLAY
This option provdes the electric energy
i and operating cost for the cycle you

Star's rate. This is a default option. To turn off this opt on,
press the OPTION buSon and then press DELAY' W ASH
button.(Estimated operating cost based on eight wash

per therm,)
NOTE: Your cost will depend on your uti ity rates and
use. And the electric energy and operating cost display
the default of the cyce.

• On{y woolen items that are designated as Machine-
Washable should be washed in this washing roach ne
• Wash only smal loads for optimum fabrc care (less
than 8 pounds)
• Only neutral (wool safe) detergents should _ used
(Only a smalll quantity of detergent is needed due to
the smali load size and low volume of water in the
cycle.}
• The HANDWASHiWOOL cycie uses a gentle tumbte
acton and low speed spin for ultimate fabric care
