The air conditioner may be operating abnormally when:

Make sure the air conditioner plug [s

box and replace the fuse or reset the
breaker,

When power is restored, wait 3
minutes to restart the air conditioner
to prevent tripping of the compressor

blinds:, or furniture blocking the front of
the air conditioner.
Turn the knob to a higher number,
The highest setting provides
m_imum cooling.
C_ean the filter at least every 2 weeks.

When the air conditioner is first turned
on, you need to ail]ow time for the
room to cool down.
Check for open furnace floor registers
and coUdair returns,

Set the mode control at High Fan or
