Recording sound when shooting still

No sound is recorded.
The camera automatically starts
recording for approx. 4 seconds
ON after taking the picture. This is
useful for recording notes or
comments about the p cture.
_4,1_ When recording, aim the microphone (p. 6)
at the source of the sound you want to
record.
_P} The sound recorded with the still images
cannot be played back on this camera.
To listen to the sound, connect to a TV or PC.

digital zoom is available. To use the optical
zoom, set [_] (movies) to [OFF].

Creating panoramic images [PANORAMA]

Panorama shooting lets you create a panoramic picture, using the OLYMPUS Master 2 software
on the provided CD-ROM.
_,_ The focus, exposure (p. 21 ), zoom position (p. 20), and [WB] (p. 25) are locked at the first frame.
_) The flash (p. 20) is fixed at (_) (FLASH OFF) mode.
,:1_, Use [_} _!_D to select the direction that the frames are combined.
Press the shutter button to take the first frame, and then compose the second shot.
• Composethe shot using the guideframeso thatthe two adjacentframesoverlap.
,_ Repeat Step <_ until the number of required frames are taken, and then press the @ button
when done.
_,S_ ' When the [_1 mark is displayed, you cannot continue shooting any further. Panorama shooting is
possible for up to 10 frames.
