Installing a drive in bay 1 or bay 2:

Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the

This section provides instructions on how to install a drive in bay 1 or bay 2.
To install a drive in bay 1 or bay 2:
1. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 14.
2. Remove the front bezel. See "Removing and reinstalling the front bezel" on
page 16.

3. If there is a metal static shield installed in the drive bay, pull the metal static
shield outwards to remove it from the drive bay.
