inthe center notchto placethe edger bladeina
900position,Figure5-8, and placethe bladedepth
controlleverinthe lowestposition.
IMPORTANT:For best results, proceedslowly
along the path being trenched, slowly moving the
edger back and forth through the cutting area.
Edging Along A Curb
Theright, rearwheelofthe edgercanbe loweredintoone
of fivepositionsto easethetaskof edgingalonga curb.
Toadjustthe heightof the curbwheel, proceedas
follows:
1. Lowerthe right, rear wheelby movingthe curb height
adjustmentleverslightlyto the left, Figure5-9.
2. Pivotthe right, rear wheelintoan applicableposition
in relationto the heightof the curbto be edged
along.
3. Releasethe curb heightadjustmentleverto lock the
wheelin position.
NOTE:Several passesmay be necessary to obtain
the desired depth of cut. Do not lower blade more
than one depth notch at a time.
