This manual describes the function and installation of the Extron IN3254 Distribution Amplifier (DA). About the IN3254 Distribution Amplifier The Extron IN3254 is a high performance RGBHV distribution amplifier. This DA includes one input and four outputs on BNC connectors. It features a two-position gain switch that affects the output level on all RGB channels, and compensates for signal level loss that occurs over long cable runs. -

Rack mounting UL requirements for rack mounting The following Underwriters Laboratories (UL) requirements pertain to the installation of an IN3254 DA onto a rack. Elevated operating ambient — If installed in a closed or multi-unit rack assembly, the operating ambient temperature of the rack environment may be greater than room ambient. - Page 8 1 through 3.
