Aft, herinstalling the battery into
e remote, put the TV-VCR-
CBL slide switch in the TV
position. Point the remote toward
the front of the TV (remote sensor
window) when pressing buttons.
VCR Buttons

Volume Button
Press to adjust the TV sound level.

Number Buttons
Press the number buttons to select TV
channels. Press tW__QO
number buttons to
select channels. For example: to select
channel 6...press "0" first and then

Menu (VJk) Buttons
Press the M button to display on-
screen feature controls. Press • or •
buttons to move forward and
backward through the list of on-screen
controls.
(-) and (+) Buttons
Press to adjust the select on-screen
feature control.
Status Button
Press to see the current channel
number on the TV screen. Also press
this button to clear the .screen after
control adjustments.

Reset Button
Press to returnthe TV to certain
factory set levels for picture and color
controls.
Sleep Timer Button
Set the "IV to automatically turn itself
OFF. See Sleep Timer section for
details.
"Power Button
Press to turn the "IV ON and OFF.
Mute Button
Press to turn the sound OFF on the
TV. Press again to returnthe sound
to its previous level.
Channel Scan Button
Press to scan up or down through
channel numbers.
Alternate Channel Button
Press to select the previously viewed
channel.
For example: You are watching
channel 4 and change to channel 10
(using the channel number buttons).
Press A/CH and your TV will return
to channel 4. Press A/CH again and
your TV will return to channel 10.
TV-VCR-CBL
Switch
In the TV position the remote sends
channel and feature commands to the
TV. In the VCR position the remote
sends commands to a VCR. In the
CBL position the remote sends
commands to a Cable Converter.
PIP Buttons
Press to operate Picture-ln-Picture
features. See PIP section for details.
