aVe you ever fallen asleep in
ont of the TV only to have it
wake you up at two in the morning
with a test pattern screeching in
your ears? Well, your TV can
save you all that trouble by
automatically turning itself off.

Press the SLEEP
button on
[ the remote (or DISPLAY button
I on the TV). SET SLEEP TIMER
I MINUTES 0 will appear on the
I screen.

Press the (+) button to pick
the amount of time (30, 60, 90, or
120 minutes) before the TV will
turn itself off.
If you pass up the time interval
you want, just keep pressing the
(+) button and your time setting
will come around again.

After you have picked the time
interval for the TV to turn off,
press the STATUS button to clear
the screen.

Remember. If you ever
ant to see how many
minutes are left before the TV
shuts itself off, press the SLEEP
button on the remote.
If you want to stop a SLEEP
TIMER setting, reset the timer
back to 0 MINUTES. You could
also turn the TV off, and then
back on again, to cancel a setting.
About 15 seconds before the TV
is to shut off a message will come
on the screen telling you GOOD
NIGHT.
