Starting Playback at a SpeciflcTrack
There are three waysto beginplayback on anAudio CD at a specific
Track.You may usethe Number buttons, the SEARCH MODE but-
ton, or the SKIP _ I_ buttons. For details,read the information
below.
A
Using the Number Buttons to Select aTtack
Press the Number buttons to enter the desired Track num-
ber. The selectedTrack will be located,and playbackwill start.You
may select aTrack with the Number buttons during playbackor
when playbackis stopped.
For single-digitTracks,press a single Number button. For example,to
playTrack three, press the Number 3 button.
ForTracks numbered 10 and above, press the +10 button (repeated-
ly,if necessary),then press the Number button of the second digit
For e_ample,to playTrack 12,pressthe +10 button, then press the
Number 2 button. For Track 22, press the +10 button twice, then
press the Number 2 button.
If you enter aTrack number that is not availableon the Disc, playback
will not begin (or the currentTrack will continue to play).

Using the SEARCH MODE Button to Select aTrack
Press the SEARCH MODE button once, then press the Ai_
buttons to select the Track number you desire. Finally, press
the PLAY button to begin playback at the selected Track.
If you press the SEARCH MODE button once during playback,the
currentTrack number will be displayedinsidethe brackets.

Using the SKIPI_IIH_I Buttons to Select aTrack
Press the SKIP _ button during playback to skip the cur-
rentTrack and move to the next Track. Press the SKIP
button repeatedly to skip subsequent Tracks. The Track number
will appear briefly on theTV screen.
Press the SKIPI_HI button during playback to return to the
beginning of the current Track. Press the SKIPt_HI button
repeatedly to go to previous Tracks. The Track number will
appear briefly on theTV screen.
If you press a SKIP button when playback is paused,you must press
the PLAY button to resume playback.
If you press a SKIP button when playbackis stopped, the selected
Track will begin playing automatically.
