COUNTER
MEMORY
The Counter Memory can be used during rewind or fast forward to automatically stop the tape when the count
reaches a preset memory position of approx. "0:00:00 reading.
For example, this feature can be used to return the tape to a pre-selected position immediately after recording, or
to repeatedly playback a certain portion of a tape.
• You must use the remote control unit for the following steps:
• Power must be turned on.
• Make sure that a cassette tape is in the TV/VCR.
Tape Start
Fast Forwards
Auto-Stop
Rewinds
Tape End
Counter Point
If the count is displayed on the TV/VCR screen, skip
step [1].
If the count is not displayed,
press C. MEMORY button
so that the counter appears
on the TVNCR screen.
Press C. RESET button. The
count resets to 0:00:00.
Press C. MEMORY button.
"MEMORY" appears on the
screen.
Press RECORD or PLAY button.
Press STOP button when re-
cording or playback is com-
pleted.
Press SELECT
button so
that the counter appears.
Press REWIND button.
The tape will automatically
stop when the count returns
to approx. 0:00:00.
