HAND WASHABLES
You may use this cycle to wash small loads. If items appear to be
floating (due to trapped air), stop the washer by pushing in the
Cycle Control knob. Push items down into the washer. Close the
lid. Pull out the Cycle Control knob to restart the washer.
RINSE AND SPIN
When using extra detergent for heavily soiled clothes, or washing
special-care items, you may find an extra rinse and spin is
needed. You may select any of the Rinse settings along with a
water level and temperature setting appropriate for the load you
are washing.
NOTE: You may also choose the 2nd Rinse cycle.
DRAIN AND SPIN
A drain and spin may help shorten drying times for some heavy
fabrics or special-care items by removing excess water• You may
choose any of the Spin settings. The washer drains, then spins.
You should select the wash/rinse water temperature based on the
type of load you are washing. Always use the warmest wash
water safe for the fabric and follow garment label instructions.
The AUTO TEMP CONTROL (ATC) electronically senses and
maintains a uniform water temperature by regulating the
temperature of incoming hot and cold water.
This control allows the water level to be adjusted to the size load
you are washing• Clothes should move freely. You may change to
a higher water level after agitating starts by turning the knob to
Reset, then to desired setting•

AUTOMATIC CYCLES
Permanent Press/Normal or Knit/Delicate
Automatic Cycles may be used for most loads. These cycles give
the best drying in the shortest time. Drying time varies according
to the type of fabric, size of the load, and dryness setting•
Dryness is determined by the exhaust temperature of the dryer.
When the dryness selected is reached, the dryer goes into a cool
down period of up to 10 minutes for the Permanent Press/Normal
cycle or up to 5 minutes for the Knit/Delicate cycle•
The Cycle Selector (Timer) Control may be set to NORMAL DRY,
which is good for most fabrics. At the end of the cycle you may
check the dryness of the load.
• If the load is drier than you like, you may select a setting
closer to Less Dry the next time you dry a similar load.
• If a load is not as dry as you like, you may complete drying
using a Timed cycle. You may select a setting closer to More
Dry the next time you dry a similar load.
TIMED DRY
This cycle may be used to complete drying if items are still damp
after the automatic cycle. It is also useful for large loads that
require a long drying time• You may choose up to 60 minutes of
heated drying time.
TOUCH UP
This cycle may be used to smooth clothes that are clean but
wrinkled from being crowded in a closet or suitcase• This setting
provides about 15 minutes of heated tumbling followed by a cool
down period of up to 10 minutes•
AIR DRY
This cycle may be used to get up to 20 minutes of drying time in
room temperature air.
WRINKLE GUARD _ II
WRINKLE GUARD c_II helps prevent wrinkles that form when
clothes are not removed promptly at the end of a cycle.
WRINKLE GUARD c_II periodically starts and stops the dryer,
tumbling the load without heat for up to 45 minutes after the
completion of an automatic cycle unless you open the dryer door.
During WRINKLE GUARD "_II, the End of Cycle Signal will sound
every 5 minutes unless the signal is turned off.
The End of Cycle Signal sounds when a cycle is complete. This
signal is helpful when you are drying permanent press, synthetics
and other items that should be removed from the dryer promptly
at the end of a cycle.
The End of Cycle Signal is selectable. If the signal is turned off,
you will not hear WRINKLE GUARD c_II sound every 5 minutes.
The dryer rack was shipped with your dryer. Remove and discard
shipping blocks before use.
The dryer rack may be used to machine dry items you would not
necessarily want to tumble dry or that you would normally line dry
(for example, sweaters).
