well-fitting lidand thematerial should beofmedium-to-heavy
thickness.
Rough f inishes may scratch t hecooktop. Aluminum andcopper
may beused asacore orbase incookware. However, when used
asabase they canleave p ermanent marks o nthecooktop o r
grates.
Cookware material isafactor i nhow quickly a ndevenly h eat i s
transferred, which affects c ooking r esults. Anonstick finish has
thesame characteristics asitsbase material. Forexample,
aluminum c ookware witha nonstick finish will t ake onthe
properties ofaluminum.
Cookware withnonstick surfaces should notbeused under t he
broiler.

The indicator lights are located along all 4 sides of the display.
The indicator lights light up or flash when the oven is in one of the
following modes: Bake, Broil, Clean (on some models), On,
Start?, Controls Locked, Door Locked (on some models), Delay,
Timer, Temp, Cook Time, or Start Time.
When power is first supplied to the appliance, "PF" or a flashing
time will appear on the display. Press OFF/CANCEL to clear.
If "PF" or a flashing time appears at any other time, a power
failure has occurred. Press OFF/CANCEL and reset the clock if
needed.
When the oven is in use, the display shows preheat time or oven
temperature setting.
When the oven is not in use, the display shows the time of day.
When using Start Time/Cook Time, the display will show either
hours and minutes, or minutes and seconds.
When setting a function, if Start/Enter is not pressed, and after
5 seconds, the "Start?" oven indicator light will flash. Press
START/ENTER, or after 1 minute, the set function will be
canceled.
The Start/Enter pad begins any oven function, the Start/Enter
pad is not pressed within 5 seconds after pressing a function
pad, the "Start?" indicator light will flash as a reminder.
If Start/Enter is not pressed within 1 minute after pressing a
function pad, the oven display will return to the time of day mode
and the programmed function will be canceled.
