NOTE: Before replacing tim bulbs, review
the light bulb information and X_SkRNING
on page 18.
Replacing Type 1 bulbs located in lamps
behind the top pan in the fresh food
compartment and the bottom freezer basket
in the freezer compartment:

Disconnect power at tim circuit breaker
or fllse box and allow the lamps to cool.
To access the lamps in the flesh food
compartment, remove tim top pan.
See Drawer and Pan Removal section.
To access the lamps in the fleezer
compartment, remove tim bottom fleezer
basket. See b)'_ezer Baskets section.

On the back wall there is a curved light
shield. Grasp each end of the light shield.
Pull the shield toward you and the robs
on the shield will release flom the slots in
the housing.
Remove tim glass above tim bulbs by pulling
it straight out.
NOTE: Always follow bulb manufacturer's
directions for handling and replacing bulbs.
5. Remove the bulb by holding tim base and
pulling suaight up. Replace with a new bulb.
6. Replace the glass by sliding it into place.
Then replace the light shield by resting the
top lip of the shield on top of the light
housing. Then press tim sides until tim robs
pop into the slots in the housing.

The light shield must
be replaced or tim heat flom tim bulb could
damage the refligeratoL
7. Reset the circuit breaker or fuse box.
