You can record movies with this camera. You can playback the recorded
movies with this camera. Sound can not be recorded.
The focus and zoom are locked. If the distance to the subject changes,
focus may be compromised.

Turn the mode dial to _:>.
• The remaining recording time in the
internal memory or card is displayed on
the monitor.
Decide the composition of the
picture.

Press the shutter button fully to
start recording.
• The camera fixes the focus and zoom.
• During movie recording, [] lights red.
Press the shutter button again
to stop recording.
• When the remaining recording time has
been used up, recording stops
automatically.
• When there is space in the internal memory or card, the remaining recording
time (IL-_'P. 2I) is displayed, and the camera is ready to shoot.

• The flash is not available.
• Remaining recording time may become exhausted quickly during recording.
Try formatting the internal memory or card with your camera before continuing

i i Notes for recording long movies
The camera continues to record the movie until the shutter button is pressed
again or the space in the internal memory or card is exhausted.
If a single movie recording uses up all of the space in the internal memory or
card, create space by erasing the movie or downloading it to a computer.
