UNPACKING THE CLEANER Unpack the cleaner from the carton and identify the parts shown in Fig. 1. Remove and dispose of the cardboard packing. 1. Upper handle section 2. Lower handle section 3. The belt of your HOOVER cleaner controls the speed of the agitator and it is important the effective operation of your cleaner. The belt is located under the bottom plate of the cleaner and should be checked from time to time to be sure it is in good condition. -
