Testing Your Speaker Levels
Now that you have connected
your speakers and made all
adjustments, you can check
your work with the built-in
Speaker Test. The Speaker Test
will play a white noise signal
for 5 seconds in every speaker
so you can go back and make
fine adjustments to the levels
for your Center Speaker, Rear
Speakers, and Subwoofer
1 Select "Speaker Test"
From the "Dolby Digital Setup" menu, move the
selection arrow to "Speaker lest," then push right to
select.

2 Test Speaker Levels
The DVD-VCR will loop playback white noise in each
speaker for 5 seconds in the following order:
1. Front Left
2. Center
3. Front Right
4. Subwoofer
5. Right Rear
6. Left Rear
Listen carefully to the relative loudness of each speaker,
Ideally, the relative loudness of each speaker will be the
same when you are in your primary listening area,
• To adjust the level of a particular speaker, repeat the
steps on pages 44-47.
• To exit the Speaker lest, press the Return button.
